This strawberry frappe blends frozen strawberries, heavy cream, and strong coffee or caffeine-free Teecino into a thick, frosty café-style drink topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of strawberry simple syrup.
It works with strong brewed coffee, Teecino Dark Roast as a caffeine-free alternative, or no coffee at all for a pure strawberry and cream version, and comes together in ten minutes with one blender.

Recipe Tips
Use frozen strawberries, not fresh – Frozen berries give the frappe its frosty texture and strong strawberry flavor that fresh berries cannot replicate in a blended drink. If using fresh strawberries, add a generous handful of extra ice to compensate.
Cool the coffee or Teecino completely before blending – Warm liquid will thin the mixture and melt the frozen strawberries too quickly. Brew ahead of time and cool fully to room temperature before it goes into the blender.
Add liquid ingredients first – Pour the milk, cream, and cooled coffee or Teecino into the blender before adding the frozen strawberries and ice. This helps the blender blades move freely and prevents the frozen ingredients from jamming.
Blend until completely smooth – Let the blender run long enough so there are no visible strawberry chunks or ice bits remaining. Scrape down the sides as needed to make sure everything incorporates evenly.
Taste before pouring – Strawberries vary in sweetness depending on the brand and when they were frozen. Adjust the sugar by half a teaspoon at a time if needed before pouring.
Drizzle the syrup inside the glass before pouring – Swirl strawberry simple syrup around the inside of the glass before the frappe goes in for a café-style presentation and an extra layer of berry flavor in every sip.
Serve immediately after blending – This frappe has the best texture right after blending. It will thin naturally as it sits so pour quickly, add the toppings, and enjoy while cold.

Instructions
- Brew the coffee or Teecino – Brew 1 cup of strong coffee or Teecino Dark Roast and allow it to cool completely to room temperature before blending. Warm liquid will thin the frappe and melt the frozen ingredients too quickly. Skip this step for a pure strawberry and cream version.
- Prepare the glass – Drizzle strawberry simple syrup around the inside of a tall glass in a slow, steady swirl. Place the glass in the refrigerator while you blend so it stays cold and the syrup sets slightly before pouring.
- Add the liquid ingredients to the blender – Pour the milk, heavy whipping cream, and completely cooled coffee or Teecino into the blender first to help the blades move freely from the start.
- Add the frozen ingredients – Add the frozen strawberries, ice cubes, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract to the blender on top of the liquid ingredients.
- Blend until smooth – Start on medium speed then increase to high and blend for 30 to 60 seconds until completely smooth with no visible strawberry pieces or ice bits remaining. Scrape down the sides as needed.
- Check the consistency – If too thick to blend, add a small splash of milk and blend again for 10 to 15 seconds. If thinner than desired, add a few more frozen strawberries and pulse briefly.
- Pour and finish – Remove the prepared glass from the refrigerator and pour the frappe in slowly so the syrup swirl stays visible on the sides. Top generously with whipped cream and drizzle additional strawberry simple syrup over the top.
- Serve immediately – Add a straw and serve right away while the frappe is at its frostiest.
Freezing & Storage
- Best enjoyed fresh – This strawberry frappe has the best texture and flavor right after blending when it is at its frostiest. The frozen strawberries and ice begin to melt naturally once blended so the consistency will thin the longer it sits.
- Refrigerator – Pour leftover frappe into a sealed jar or airtight container and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Stir or shake well before serving as the mixture will separate and thin as it sits.
- Freezer – Pour leftover frappe into a freezer-safe container and freeze until solid. Let it sit at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes to soften slightly, then re-blend on high speed for 20 to 30 seconds to restore the smooth, creamy texture.
- Make-ahead tip – Measure and freeze the strawberries ahead of time and brew and cool the coffee or Teecino the night before. When ready to blend, everything goes straight into the blender.
- Do not reheat – This drink is designed to be served cold. If it has thinned or separated after refrigerating, re-blending from frozen restores the original frosty consistency.
